Should video technology be implemented in football?
I look at tennis and cricket with the challenges rule. It’s worked very well there with the limited number of challenges available to each team. That said, tennis and cricket are not flowing sports like football.
More key decisions come under scrutiny each week. UEFA President, Michel Platini, opposes video technology but does approve what the Champions League and Europa League have incorporated this season, which is having an extra official just behind the goal line.
